Established ny NSMS durgapur Chapter-the Santinikatan Polytechnic,Durgapur Started its journey in the year of 2016.Approved by AICTE and affiliated to WBSCT & VE &SD,this self financing diploma engineering college at the beginning had only 100 students in four engineering branches.

Now the institute has four branches viz,Civil,Mechanical,Electrical and Computer Science & technology.In the year 2017 the institute has started its 2nd batch in CE,EE,CST amd ME courses and regarded as 1 of the highest in-taker of 1st year admission.

The astonishing change in student strength during the span of two years was possible only with the fine harmonization of relationship among the governing body-faculty/teacher-associated staff-and,last but not the least,our beloved students.

The spirit and dedication of highly educated faculty from the academia and experienced technocrat from the industry make this diploma engineering college different from others.According to the remarks of the WBSCTE representatives,the infrastructure of this diploma engineering college is comparable to any degree engineering college.
